Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero Review

Super-Fun Super-Heroes!

Can we all agree that adding that second "Super" was a terrible idea? It was a perfect pun to just call it "Dragon Ball Super: Hero", but here we are from the same people that gave us Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan. Luckily, that's probably the biggest issue I had with this film because damn it's a lot of fun!

Can I ever trust again?

I think the trope of cliff-hangers and gut-punches from manga over the years has made me too cynical. A character dies, I refuse to believe it's permanent. A villain is a woman in Fairy Tail, I refuse to believe she'll be bad forever no matter what she does. That last one is a new one because I officially raise my hands and scoff at the contrived nonsense of Selene in this review. Oh and there's some Gray stuff too, but that's as tacked on as my mention of him in this paragraph.

If this is true, maybe my Yuri theory will finally be given the validation it deserves.
