My Worst Anime Villains

A few years ago, I did a Top 20 Anime Villains list, which I'll provide a link for here, because anime is packed to the brim with fantastic antagonists and enemies, like Younger Toguro, Medusa Gorgon and Lord Frieza. So of course, I thought about doing the exact opposite and finding 10 terrible villains I've come to hate, one per series as always. Unfortunately, I've found myself surprisingly struggling to find 10... so here, enjoy me hating on the few I could find! And don't worry, Jellal isn't here.

Biggest Character Downgrades in Anime and Manga

Sometimes, it's not the character being annoying or pathetic that's the problem, but it's how they eventually end up in the story that makes it painful to look at them or go back to the good old days. I'll always respect a writer's choice to do what they want with their own characters, but the ones on this list got me angry, embarrassed or just plain depressed, and so I wanted to share them with you today. And if there's some you believe are missing from this list, don't hesitate to tell me!

2022 was a wild ride, and it's time to celebrate by talking about every single movie I've loved to watch this year. I went a lot in 2022, needing a good source of escapism, and there was quite a range throughout. I saw horrors, comedies, cartoons, and more. 2021 is finally over, and I doubt most of us are sad to see it go. I know I had a rough time of it, which you can tell from the lack of articles and reviews published this year (please forgive me, senpais and kouhais!), especially in the movie department, so I wanted to take this chance to just list a bunch of movies I enjoyed that year, why I enjoyed them, and why I hope you can enjoy them too. This is a fully positive article done for us all to have fun, so no terrible movies will even be mentioned here!

Ranking the DCEU Movies

What a bunch of Jokers.

The DCEU is such a ridiculous mess of movies, that it's almost fascinating to watch. There have been tons of failed attempts to make MCU ripoffs, from the planned "Men in Black crossover with 21 Jump Street" franchise, to the Dark Universe that was trying to make a franchise before it made a film, but none have held on as long as the DCEU has. These films are so loosely connected and a complete mix of genres and styles that I can't help but basically watch them all and see if it's going to be a bomb or not. So let's take a look and see who ranks where and why!

I want to talk about Danganronpa, so let's do so. A ranking list of the four? Yes, all four games ranked from my least-best to best. I think that will do me well. There were also a couple of mobile games released only in Japan, but one look at them instantly tells me they would have been stuck at the bottom of this list and done nothing but take up space so... let's ignore it and stick to everything I've got downloaded on my ps4!

Well it might not be their anniversary just yet, but I wanted to make an article to remember the extremely popular and hilarious "Dragon Ball Z Abridged" series, made by the hard-working gang of creative types known as Team Four Star. And what better way than a Top 10? So without further ado or ceremony, let's go over what I consider the Top 10 best episodes!

Oh, and for those who don't know, the Team Four Star crew consists of Scott "KaiserNeko" Frerichs, Nick "Lanipator" Landis, Curtis "Takahata101" Arnott, Lawrence "MasakoX" Simpson, Anthony "Antfish" Sardinha, Corinne "Megami33" Sudberg, Kirran "yourMoonstone" Somerlade, Cliff "AinTunez" Weinstein, Grant "MasterWuggles" Smith, and Tyler Koi. As well as a buttload of collaborators and such that I encourage you to check out too, and I would list here but that would basically end up being the entire article. 

Note: This does not include the Kai episodes, the Shortz or the movies and specials. Only the 60 episodes and the prologue are considered for this list. Also, to keep as much of a variety as possible, I've tried not to include episodes connected directly to each other.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - The Infinity Saga Ranked

Disney+ has finally arrived in the UK, I'm trapped in my house, so I might as well take this time to finally write the article I was originally going to release alongside Black Widow, but then every film got delayed and so here we are... 23 movies, starting 2008 and ending in 2019, all about the world of Marvel and the heroes created in it to take on the massive gallery of villains. From Iron Man to Spider-Man: Far from Home, let's figure out which was the best and which was... the least-best. I like them all!

2019's anime was quite a great bunch, wasn't it? We had shonen, sports, seinen, comedy, and more isekai than was bloody necessary. And this year, I'm putting down my favourite ten! Ranking the Disney Remakes So Far

Disney's live-action remakes of it's classic films just won't stop being made, nor will they stop making money. At time of writing, Disney are working on GODDAMN TWELVE more remakes, not including November's Lady and the Tramp on Disney+, and so we're clearly not escaping this nonsense for a while. Despite my words however, does that mean none of them are of value? Is there no fun to be had? "Which ones are worth a look?", you ask me. Very well, let's take a look at them all and determine which, if any, deserve our attention.

Top 10 Bleach Girls

I really miss Bleach.

For the longest time, Bleach was considered one of "The Big Three". It was able to stand alongside Naruto and One Piece due to it's popularity in the West, but it eventually lost favour and had an ending more rushed than the Flash's medical exam. However, I want to remember Bleach whenever I can, despite it's final chapters, so here are the top 10 female characters of the entire Bleach series. Both anime and manga, but canon only!

So obviously I had to celebrate the release of Avengers; Endgame with more than just a simple review of the movie. I considered ranking every film, but then I got the idea to rank the villains instead, from Iron Man to Endgame, and so here we are. It's a personal list, of course, so feel free to comment your own favourites down below after having a read. And because of the vast differences in time and budget, only the movie villains are on this list! So no Kingpin, Kilgrave or Cottonmouth this time, sadly.

Top 10 Worst DC Movies

Well, I did Marvel's worst movies ever (CLICK HERE), and Shazam! is now coming to cinemas with positive reviews, so now is as good a time as any to write up the DC version! And while DC has had some of the finest comic-book movies in history, such as 1978's Superman and the Dark Knight, it has had a beautifully painful history of bad ones too, with a few far too recent ones for my liking. Anyway, no point wasting time. The ten worst DC movies!

Well, this one wasn't as easy as the Dragon Ball version (CLICK HERE)! Naruto's female roster ranges from the wonderfully absurd to the absurdly wasted, and it can cause quite the internal commotion when trying to decide who is the best and who is the 10th best, especially when you're aware of a certain fandom war that raged for years during this series' runtime... I'm really glad Super exists, because writing this list and keeping it full of relevant female characters would have been a lot more difficult for me. Not to say that there aren't plenty of women in the original, Z, movies, video games and even GT, but very few are worth remembering. Thankfully, there are now dozens to choose from and so, across every major Dragon Ball property, here are the Top 10 female characters of the Dragon Ball franchise!
