Favorite personality trait:

“Why? Because…”. His way of explaining things. He knows a lot and wants to inform the others on missions, but it makes him so annoying. It’s something that’s typical about Shino and even if it may annoy some people, it’s who he is.

Character Birthday Challenge ~ Gaara

Favorite personality trait:

His strong will to protect everyone in his village. I know every Kage feels this way, but with Gaara it’s a different kind of strong will. He was feared by the villagers for years and turned into a someone who only lived for himself. Someone who killed for bloodlust and never cared about anyone else. After his encounter with Naruto he faced the fact that even a jinchuuriki is able to have bonds. This changed his life and made him into the amazing Kazekage he is.

Favorite personality trait:

Ambition. His plans may have been inhumane, but he did everything needed to reach his goal. Killing people in the shadows to protect Konoha, cursing his own Root members to make sure all his activities weren’t revealed. Cruel man, but very ambitious.

Favorite personality trait:

No idea if you can call it discipline, but his ‘My Rules’ thingy. He keeps setting up goals and punishments if he didn’t reach that goal in time. Funny and insane punishments, but that’s discipline if you ask me.

Character Birthday Challenge ~ Hinata

Favorite personality trait:

Shyness. It’s a good and bad thing. It gives her a huge cuteness factor, and you really start to feel sympathy for her. But it’s also a irritation factor. The way she keeps stuttering and fainting when she sees Naruto gets on your nerves. I really hope she keeps getting less shy and speaks her mind more often, like she did during the war a few times now.

Favorite personality trait:

Self-confidence. Madara knows he’s one of the most powerful shinobi and it shows in everything he does. The way he fights, talks. Everything.

Character Birthday Challenge ~ Lee

Favorite personality trait:

His persistence to prove everyone wrong. He believes in his own skills and will try anything to prove it to others. And even after he’s been through hard times, he isn’t giving up.

Favorite relationship:

Guy-sensei. The way Lee looks up to him and the way Guy keeps supporting Lee, is just amazing. He literally tries to copy Guy (even his outfit), but if that helps him to reach his goal… why not? Without Guy-sensei he would have given up a long time ago, so I really hope Guy keeps supporting him no matter what happens.

Character Birthday Challenge ~ Izumo

Favorite personality trait:

Pride. In contrary of Kotetsu, he’s proud to be one of Tsunade’s errand boys. That’s a good thing, since Kotetsu will try to avoid work all the time and he’s the one dragging him back to finish the job.

Favorite relationship:

Kotetsu. His loyal partner. I really love this relationship. They know each other so well and know exactly what to say to the other to get him to do something.

Character Birthday Challenge ~ Sai

Favorite personality trait:

Empathy. I know it’s horrible what Danzo did to him by ‘taking away’ his feelings, but it makes him such an entertaining character. The way Sai reacts to emotions and tries to understand them, is actually very interesting.

Favorite relationship:

Naruto. I’ll never forget the moment that Sai decided to change his mission of killing Sasuke, into a mission to save Sasuke. Only because he was interested in the strong bond Naruto had with him before he left Konoha. I just loved this moment.

Character Birthday Challenge ~ Shizune

Favorite personality trait:

I actually like her personality as a whole. She’s timid, but not afraid to speak her mind or to become quite aggressive when it comes to protecting the ones she cares about. There really isn’t anything that I don’t like about her personality.

Favorite relationship:  

Tsunade,  of course. She really cares for Tsunade and helps her whenever she can. If there’s anyone who knows all about Tsunade, it’s Shizune.

Character Birthday Challenge ~ Jiraiya

Favorite personality trait:

Perviness. The way he admitted that he was a super pervert, showed that he wasn’t ashamed of it. And it also gave him the inspiration needed for his Icha Icha novels. But it also gave Naruto a way to get him to do things while using the Sexy no Jutsu.

Favorite relationship:

Even though he tried to hit on her when they first met and he was a real show off, they became really good friends. The way they made a bet involving his life when he went on his last missions, showed how much she cared about him. Too bad this was the only bet she every won.

Character Birthday Challenge ~ Sasori

Favorite personality trait:

Ambition. He desired everlasting existence, which he finally acquired by turning himself into a puppet. But like Kankuro said during the War, he didn’t become immortal, his puppets did. All because he put his soul and heart into the while creating them.  

Favorite relationship:

Chiyo. She took care of him after his parents died and taught him how to make puppets. She was the one how gave him a chance to be happy, because he made the Mother and Father puppet thanks to her. Too bad she was also the only one capable of killing him.

Character Birthday Challenge ~ Orochimaru

Favorite personality trait:

His determination. Even though he used it to be able to use every technique ever created, he was very determined. He never gave up when conducting experiments and because of that, he always got the results he was hoping for.

Favorite relationship:

I’m going with Kabuto. I think Orochimaru really cared for Kabuto and trusted him. He made him the way he is now, but Kabuto’s still following Orochimaru’s goal. But I’m curious about what Orochimaru will do with him after the war is over.

Character Birthday Challenge ~ Anko

Favorite personality trait:

I actually really like her sadistic side. But she always does her research before going on a mission, which I also like about her.

Favorite relationship:

I would say Orochimaru, but only when he was her mentor. After he abandoned her, she started hating him and changed her goal into killing him. There isn’t any other notable relationship I can think of…

Character Birthday Challenge ~ Hashirama

Favorite personality trait:

His ‘Will of Fire’. He always wanted to protect his friends, family and all the villagers no matter what happened. And he even sacrificed his own life protecting them. The way his belief was passed on to next generations, shows how much Hashirama did for Konoha.

Favorite relationship:

Madara. Eternal rivals, but once best friends. They had the same dream, or at least Hashirama thought they did. The way Madara became, was also the reason Hishirama became the strong shinobi he is today. He still tries to understand Madara and hopefully he will succeed.

Character Birthday Challenge ~ Asuma

Favorite personality trait:

Being layed-back. Even though he avoided doing something as much as he could, he knew exactly how to train and motivate his team. It showed what a dedicated sensei he was.

Favorite relationship:

Shikamaru. This relationship is one the closest ones in the series, in my opinion. The way they always played shogi, because this was the perfect way for Shikamaru to develop his analyzing skills, showed how much Asuma knew about him. And of course the way Shikamaru reacted after Asuma’s death, was the best way to illustrate their strong bond.

Character Birthday Challenge ~ Naruto

Favorite personality trait:

His strong will. Seriously, after all that he’s been through he still doesn’t give up. I really like this about him and I really hope he will never lose his will to protect the ones he loves. With that’s happening right now, it may happen sooner as we expect, but I don’t think he will ever lose it.

Favorite relationship:

Iruka. He was the first one to acknowledge him and he still believes in him, no matter what happens. Too bad we don’t see much conversations between them anymore, but I hope there will be in the future.

Favorite fight:

Even though it’s not over yet… I really like his fight with Obito. The way he developed and analyzed everything that happened in the fight, is amazing. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Favorite jutsu:

Everything Kurama related. I really like the jutsu Naruto’s able to use when he’s using Kurama’s chakra and when they’re working together. Every new transformation is even more awesome than the previous one.

Favorite outfit:

His outfit when he’s in Bijuu mode. He looks amazing in it.

Favorite random thing:

His whiskers. I know they're typical for Naruto, but I still like them a lot.

Personal thoughts:

It took me a while before I actually liked him, but now I think he’s just amazing. The way developed his skills and also his relationships with the villagers, his team mates, sensei’s,… is amazing. He never gives up and he keeps believing in everyone who’s every betraded his or Konoha’s trust.  Amazing character and I really hope the series isn’t ending soon.

Character Birthday Challenge ~ Jugo

Favorite personality trait:

Kindness. I really like this side of him. He’s always avoiding a fight and never wants to hurt or kill anyone, but that all changes when he loses it. It’s an interesting change in personality, but I prefer his kind side.

Favorite relationship:

Sasuke. The way he trusts Sasuke and obeys him no matter what, is amazing. I also like the reason why it acts like this. Luckily Sasuke really is able to keep him in check.

Character Birthday Challenge ~ Ino

Favorite personality trait:

Kindness. I know she can be harsh and stuff, but she can also be very kind. Like when she helped Sakura get more confidence. She cares a lot about her friends and will do anything to make them cheer up again. I really like that side of her.

Favorite relationship:

Sakura. I know they see each other more as rivals than friends, but they have a strong bond nonetheless. Ino helped Sakura when she was being bullied and made her more confident about herself. Even now they still try to outdo the other in everything, like Ino didn’t like it when Sakura became her superior while training under Tsunade, and Sakura loved it. But aside this rivalry, they know they can always count on each other.

Favorite fight:

I actually liked all her fights. The way she works together with Choji and Shikamaru is just amazing. They know each others’ abilities so well and always know how to train themselves to keep up with the others.

Favorite jutsu:

Mind Body Switch Technique. I know it’s the Yamanaka’s signature move and Ino has been using is since ever, but I still like it.

Favorite outfit:

I prefer her genin outfit. I actually dislike her new one.

Favorite random thing:

Her knowledge about flowers. The way she compared Sakura to a flower while trying to cheer her up, was just cute.

Personal thoughts:

She can be bossy and act tough, but in the end she’s very kind and sensitive. When this side of her was shown, I really started liking her. Her skills are amazing and I think she’s doing a great job being in a team with Shikamaru and Choji. Her bond with Sakura is also very interesting, I would like to see where they end up.

His sense of commitment to his friends and Konoha. He would do anything to protect his friend of end his missions with success. Even sacrifice himself.

Favorite relationship:

Choji. I love their strong bond. Choji would do anything for Shikamaru and the other way around. He always knows how to talk to Choji and give him more confidence in his own abilities.
