Fairy Tail Chapter 386 Review - Galaxia Blade

Written by: Shiggins.

Lucy's time in the sun is done.

Jackal is down! Jackal is down! My favourite demon has fallen and I am crying my eyes out! It was totally obvious and he completely deserved it but damn it, my tears will fall and you can't stop me! Unfortunately, using the ultimate spell from last week has also caused Lucy to fall down due to that being her last attack. We then see Torafusa!, Silver and Tempesta all notice Jackal's magic power disappear but Lucy is still alive.

Optimus Prime was wrong. One shall not stand. Both shall fall.

Bleach 582 Review – “The Headless Star”

Bleach 582 Review – “The Headless Star”
Written by: ClayDragon

Apologies for the lateness of this one. It is appalling and I really should know better.

After landing in the Soul Society, Ichigo walks over to Kenpachi and asks if he can stand. However, Kenpachi rebuffs his question and tells him to worry about himself. At that moment, Candice appears behind Ichigo and prepares to fire a lightning bolt at him. Before she can attack, Ichigo flash-steps above her, grabs her wrist, and throws her into a nearby building.

Ichigo used Strength! It's super effective!

NARUTO Chapter 678 Review : My Will

Written by Frilly Phoenix

This week's chapter is pure awesomeness, really !
I guess Kishimoto knows he made me upset with his previous chapter
and he tried to make up for it by giving us a better one to read this time.
Let's get started !

What's happening in this chapter ?

The chapter begins with a view of the fourth main ninja villages, Konoha not included (in moments like these, I'm glad I can read kanji). They're all invaded by the Holy Tree branches, with people hanging from them.

Fairy Tail Chapter 385 Review - Spirit King vs King of Hades

Angels vs Demons! (Sorry that this chapter was so late.)

Yes, that is basically what is happening now. Celestial Spirits are basically angels fighting against the demons of Tartaros. And now Plutogrim is collapsing, with everybody giving their reaction faces in one tiny panel each. Anyway, Mard Geer and the Spirit King go through the typical formalities where Geer says he's bringing back E.N.D etc and reveals that's why Lucy is crying. Then we get to the reason we're here this week. Spirit King vs Mard Geer!

"Even though I'm hugely angry, I don't give a shit until somebody summons me!"

Magi Chapter Review 225

Written by: Micha

My prayers have been answered. The plot is finally accelerating at a great pace.

I feel you, Ugo.

So this chapter is three months after the previous event of Sheba finally getting Solomon’s attention.  My theory of Solomon being asexual was proven wrong as we see in these very first panels where Solomon kisses Sheba on the forehead and she transforms in to a puddle of mushy thing.

We also find out that Ugo is determined to devote his attention to his magic research rather than find a girl for himself, by which I’m not surprised at all.

Bleach 581 Review – “The Hero 2”

Bleach 581 Review – “The Hero 2”
Written by: ClayDragon

And about damn time.

Instead of starting the chapter with Kenpachi, we’re shown what Omaeda and Sui-Feng are up to. As it turns out, Sui-Feng passed out sometime after using her Bankai on BG9, and Omaeda is having to carry her around whilst fending off Quincy soldiers. Just as they’re about to attack him, he hears a voice commending him for looking after both his sister and his Captain, and the soldiers are suddenly engulfed in flames.

"Well, look at this! Appears we got here just in the nick of time. What does that make us?"
"Big damn heroes, sir!"

Kuroshitsuji Chapter 93 Review - That Butler, Descent

So I've decided to try my hand at writing a review for Kuroshitsuji. (Also known as Black Butler). If you would like me to review next month's chapter, just tick the "cool" reaction box below.

Our chapter resumes where we were last week, with Sebastian the demon butler unsure whether or not he should take Master Ciel Phantomhive back home to England. With Ciel all messed up and contradicting previous orders, Sebastian has to debate the big struggle between what is best for Ciel and what should or should not be done. Surely, he will spend a long time figuring this out and coming to battle with his own morals and goals... Nevermind, Mr Tanaka just said they should let Ciel rest and he'll be back up soon. We then see the master of the house, Green Witch Sullivan and her butler Wolfram who are preparing to go into the village to talk to them about the recent werewolf incident.

The catchphrase of one who is useless in group work.

NARUTO Chapter 677 Review : Infinite Tsukuyomi...!!

Written by FrillyPhoenix

First off, sorry for not being able to review the NARUTO chapters lately...
You know what it's like, finals and shit. Also I gotta apologize to Shiggins :
sorry dude, I won't be able to review the chapters I missed as I told you...
I mean : LOOK at the shit that is happening this week !
. . .
Let's (somehow) get started.

What's happening in this chapter ?

I can't help but think that Kishi wants to give me a harder challenge for my reviews every week *sigh*.
Okay, so last week, we saw Madara launching his great project, the Infinite Tsukuyomi, and this week, the chapter shows its effect on... everyone. Like, really, everyone. Even the godamn cats.

Damn Kishimoto... relying on cat fanservice to sell more ! I can't believe you've sunk that low !

Fairy Tail Chapter 384 Review - Attack of the Stars

A surprising goodbye this week.

Aquarius is here and with that, Lucy is probably on the brink of death. And as always, Aquarius doesn't waste time and begins manipulating the water to attack Jackal. Leo and Virgo tell Lucy to close one of the gates before she passes out or dies, but then Torafusa! reveals his expertise is water. He swims up and slashes Aquarius in the chest. Things get worse when Jackal appears and takes down both of them with one attack.

If I was hurt like Lucy, I would want those boobs on my head too.

Magi Chapter 222.5 Review and Analysis

Written by: Micha

I apologize for the delay in writing this review of chapter 222.5, which has to be the most brief yet confusing chapter ever published. In this informative chapter, we saw a page of David’s prophetic book which isn’t revealed to the people of the current world because it’s not part of the “Great Flow”; henceforth it’s not recorded in the rukhs of Solomon’s Wisdom. In the pages of the book, David has highlighted the following topics:

  1. Solomon’s birth
  2. the “paths” and phenomenon of the future he sees,
  3. the birth of “singularity”
  4. and his grand mission of surpassing god.

Bleach 580 Review – “The Light”

Bleach 580 Review – “The Light”
Written by: ClayDragon

Ironically, this chapter ain’t all that light and fluffy.

As lightning crackles across the clouds, the Squad 11 members that were fried collapse to the ground, causing the surviving members to rush to their sides. It’s revealed that Candice Catnipp (weird name) has the epithet of ‘the Thunderbolt’, and was the one to zap Kenpachi’s subordinates. However, this show didn’t impress Giselle too much, who notes that Candice missed some.

Magi Chapter 224 Review

Written by: Micha

This chapter started with where they left off in the previous one. Upon having discussed Solomon’s future marital affairs with Arba, Sheba is trying (and failing) to woo Solomon to go on a date with her. Solomon however, as predicted, is asexual and does not seem to care much about Sheba’s gestures.

Sheba is a lesbian if she thinks this is how you convince someone to date you.

Fairy Tail Chapter 383 Review - Surfing Lucy

It's a free-for-all for Lucy's body!

That's right, this week is a big hit for fans of Lucy and a total bitch-fest for haters of the blonde gal as Lucy takes center-stage in a pretty awesome chapter. She's all alone in Plutogrim, confused and worried about everything going on. Plutogrim is flying about and destroying buildings with it's roar alone, including an entire cathedral. Very dramatic business.

It's flying Gojira!

Bleach 579 Review – “THE UNDEAD 6”

Bleach 579 Review – “THE UNDEAD 6”
Written by: ClayDragon

Now that was just plain weird.

As Guremi lies dying on the ground, he wonders if he was killed by his own imagination. He comes to the conclusion that he imagined Kenpachi’s power perfectly, just as his opponent walks towards him. He tells Kenpachi that his imagination was correct, and that it was maybe even too correct. Guremi was able to imagine Kenpachi’s total power, but failed to account for the fact that only Kenpachi’s body could withstand his power.

Top 10 Anime Anti-Heroes

Written by Shiggins

Sometimes, we need a character that is questionable and not on the two main sides available to him/her. A selfish, self-involved character perhaps? An anti-hero is someone who operates for their own reasons, and does whatever they want or feel they need to do because of their morals and ideals. They can be both a hero and a villain, but they don't generally belong on either side.

So to celebrate my personal favourite type of character, here is the top 10 anti-heroes list.

Note: Some minor spoilers ahead. Only one character per anime.

10. Gary Oak - Pokemon

"If you showed up on time, you would've seen that I got the best Pokémon from Professor Oak! It pays to have a grandfather in the Pokémon business, isn't it?"

We need to start noticing Pokemon on this blog. And here to make us remember that it is an anime for all ages is Gary Oak, the infamous rival of Ash Ketchum and grandson of Professor Oak who, in the video games, seems to have his name forgotten by his grandfather. Starting off with the pokemon starter Squirtle, which Ash originally wanted, he went on through the series to become the best pokemon trainer while being a bit of a prick about it.

"I want Gary to be the best... like no-one ever was."
