Bleach 570 Review – “Closer, Closer”

Bleach 570 Review – “Closer, Closer”
Written by: ClayDragon

Is Kubo just trying to make every Sternritter creepier than the last?

After being attacked by Rukia’s Bankai, As Nodt goes into flashback mode, where we see him lying on a hospital bed, attached to a ventilator. As he lies there, he complains to himself that living is uncomfortable, and that it hurts him to even breathe. As he contemplates how he’d like to go to heaven and how he’s afraid of going to hell, he notices someone walk into his room.

Top 10 Anime Battles

Written by: Shiggins

I've been with Otakunuts for one whole year!

Hey there! First of all, a quick update on what's going on. Claydragon is no longer working on the Top 10 lists due to university work, so it's only going to be me, Shiggins, working on them for now. Sorry about that. This might mean some lists are only Top 5's, but that just depends on how things go with certain categories.

Secondly, it's time to celebrate the return of the Top 10's by providing one of the best reasons to watch anime. It's time for anime battles!

Warning: Spoilers ahead!

Fairy Tail Chapter 372 Review - Erza Penetrates!

Payback's a bitch.

Kicking off from last time, Kyouka is now in the same chains Erza has been in for the past few chapters, with Erza looking very angry and grumpy over the previous torturing and wanting to get some sadistic revenge. Erza, Natsu and Lisanna demand she tells them where Mirajane and Elfman are. Kyouka tells them that Mirajane is in the lab and they're probably already too late. She also tells them she doesn't know who Elfman is. And with that, Natsu and Lisanna run off to find Mirajane, leaving Erza with Kyouka.

Erza's rape face is giving me the weirdest boner right now.

Bleach 569 Review – “The White Haze”

Just when I thought it couldn’t get any creepier…

Upon noticing that Byakuya has broken through his wall of eyes, As Nodt turns to him and remarks that he took a long time to arrive. He then goes on to taunt Byakuya, noting that he tore his stomach out last time they fought, and asks if he lost weight. At this point, Rukia comes to her senses and warns her brother not to look in any of As Nodt’s eyes.

The Science of Manga - Part 2

The Science of Manga - Naruto
Written by: ClayDragon

If there are two things that interest me, they’re science and manga. It occurred to me that the two need not be mutually exclusive, so I’ve decided to do a series of articles dedicated to applying real-world science to the world of manga. I’m not simply going to explain how things work in relation to the laws of physics within the manga, I’m actually going to use the laws of physics that our world relies on to explain things. As such, if you have any questions about science in a manga series that you’d like me to explain, simply leave your question in the comments below. For my next article, I thought I’d tackle one of the main concepts of Naruto:

Not to be confused with sign language.

It is possible to replicate a jutsu?

Fairy Tail Chapter 371 Review - Time To Fight Back!

Fairy Tail are finally charging forward!

With the entire guild exploding, I was left wondering how exactly the characters were going to survive that. Of course, the demons of Tartaros were just smiling and assuming they had succeeded in wiping out everybody because no villain is ever worried that their big bad plan failed. As Kyouka and the others prepare to find Face, Franmalth suddenly notices something is very wrong. The 3 exceeds of Fairy Tail are flying right towards them.

Kyouka has gotten really dramatic this chapter

Japanese Gifts You Should Give for this Valentine's!

Written by: Micha

‘Tis here. The holy month of love, affection and a slight amount of desperation. I didn’t think I would hear the word “love” come out of my mouth either, but for the sake of this cotton candy and plush bear stuffed article, let’s pretend I’m a nice person.

For the fellas around our otaku community who are lucky enough to find a person to spend the 14th of February with, Valentine’s day is a great day to empty your bitterness, loneliness, and bank accounts.

And for the unfortunate, single, 24/7-manga-reading losers like myself, it’s just been another partner-less year. Well, if you don’t count the fictional characters we fantasize about and obsess over, that is. And this bitch of an amorous and somewhat suffocating holiday just makes us ponder about that one cold bed on which we’ll grow old and die alone.

No? Just me? Yeah, let’s pretend I didn’t say that.

My point is, this holiday is going to be magical for all otakus, regardless of your current status because I’m about to show you something very cool. Valentine’s Day is about love; whether it’s your lover, the person you admire from a distance because of a restraining order, a platonic friend, or your parents, it’s the perfect time to team up with freaky anime-themed shops and Japanese online stores to show how much adore them.

Bleach 568 Review – “Hear. Fear. Here. 2”

Bleach 568 Review – “Hear. Fear. Here. 2”

Told you it was too quick.

After freezing As Nodt solid, Rukia begins to slowly raise her body temperature up to a normal amount. She notes that the change has to be done gradually or else her body tissue will be damaged – a fact that becomes apparent when a small cut opens on her thumb. As she looks at it, she hears a small noise coming from As Nodt, which turns out to be him asking himself if he’s feeling fear.

Fairy Tail Chapter 370 Review - The Rabbit Uses Phoenix Down

I'm honestly wondering how Fairy Tail will survive this arc.

With the seals finally destroyed, Face appears and the entire guild of Tartaros shakes. Natsu and Lisanna are falling over, and then they see handcuffs, a bone and more importantly, a sword slide over to them. They realise they can use the sword to cut the chains but for some reason, they didn't bring up the question of "who gave them the sword?". It might have just been a guard who fell over and dropped his sword, but I'm doubting it. Could it be Silver? That's my best guess but honestly, I have no real clue.

Even Lisanna is tired of your stupidity, Natsu

Bleach 567 Review – “Dance With Snow White”

Bleach 567 Review – “Dance With Snow White”

That was quick. Too quick…

Continuing on from where last week left off, As Nodt expresses confusion as to why his fear didn’t affect Rukia. She then tells him to attack her again if he doesn’t believe her, and claims that it’s the power of the real Sode No Shirayuki. As Nodt decides to see if she’s bluffing by firing more needles at her, only for Rukia to freeze them in mid-air.
