Congratulations, we're looking for new writers to join the Otaku Nuts Harem! Work through the ranks and maybe some day, you'll be allowed to brush our master's hair too.

Hyouka Anime Review

Hyouka Anime Review
Written by: ClayDragon

“If I don’t have to do it, I won’t. If I have to do it, I’ll make it quick.” This is the motto of Houtarou Oreki, a normal but lazy student who joins the empty Classics Club at school simply so he’ll have a room to himself in which he can relax. Unfortunately for him, the walking bundle of curiosity known as Eru Chitanda also joins the club, and continually ropes Houtarou – who has an almost Sherlockian level of deductive abilities – into helping to satisfy her curiosity.

Shimoneta - Do the Panties Hide More than we Realise?

Written by Shiggins

Is the title of this article clever or stupid? Let me know in the comments below!

Just like Kill la Kill in 2013, not a lot of people would openly admit that they watched Shimoneta, or to give it it's full name "Shimoneta: A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Doesn’t Exist". The reason for this is a very simple one actually; It's so perverted! Episodes devoted to vibrators and constant shots of "ecchi" nudity, as well as the enormous amount of vulgar words that even the Japanese anime censors (with fun splat sounds, of course). And yet, after taking a moment to think about it, I realise it's actually one of the smartest series I've seen this year.

......No, I'm serious. This is a smart series! Please don't leave yet!

Fairy Tail Chapter 448 Review - FIGHT THE POWER

Written by Shiggins

Fairy Tail are back... yet again!

After another break, we return to Fairy Tail Guild. Yes, we've literally just gone right back home! And I'm not gonna lie, that opening page had me instantly unsure about how to accept this. Is it good we've all joined together and already left Zeref's country, for now? I don't think it is. It feels like their visit to the country was too quick, and honestly it's not the only disappointment this chapter has.

And now that I have been deprived of seeing this, my life will never be complete.

Fairy Tail Gaiden - Kengami no Souryuu Chapter 1 Review - The Melancholy of a Master

Written by Shiggins

Remember that spinoff chapter where Rogue squeezed Yukino's tit? This is a bit like that.

Ever since Sting and Rogue made their appearance in the series, you can tell Hiro Mashima-senpai is in love with the duo, as are many fans. And to be honest, I can totally see why. They're tough, they're cool and they're not as two-dimensional as some of the other characters. A spin-off about these two was probably inevitable and while I am admittedly disappointed Mashima can't do the art, this chapter is still worth talking about.

The art isn't awful... It's just finding it's footing.

Top 20 Anime Ending Credits

Top 20 Anime Ending Credits
Written by: ClayDragon & Shiggins
Everyone talks about how awesome anime openings are. Heck, we have two lists about them! But very few people mention the endings. This is understandable, as most of them aren’t as epic or catchy as the openings. But in actuality, there are a lot of good endings. So many, in fact, that we couldn't fit them all on a Top 10 list. As a result, we decided that for the first time ever we had to make a Top 10 into a Top 20! And if you think it’s a long read, imagine how long it took us to write it all…

Thanks to the anonymous commenter who requested this list!

As is this the case with many of these lists, SPOILER ALERT. You have been warned.

Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F Review

Written by Shiggins

One of the greatest villains has finally made his epic return!

I missed getting the chance to review Battle of Gods, which I deeply regret, so I'm not wasting my chance this time and I'm going to review the second film that has restored the name of Dragon Ball to modern anime. Just like Battle of Gods, it gives us a great nostalgia trip while also providing some new experiences... Unfortunately, this one might be more flawed than Battle of Gods.

Spoiler alert: Frieza is in it!

Fairy Tail Chapters 446 & 447 Review - The Land Abandoned by God & Escape Battle

Written by Shiggins

Max must feel like crap after this chapter!

After seeing how destructive the ability of sand can be thanks to characters like Gaara, I suppose Max should have always been feeling pretty down about his own magic. However, this chapter would definitely have him crying into that broom of his all night as we finally got our wish and saw another member of the Spriggan 12 in action.

So Ajeel is black and Brandish has green hair? Nice surprise there actually. I like it.

Bleach 637 Review – Baby, Hold Your Hand

Bleach 637 Review – Baby, Hold Your Hand
Written by: ClayDragon

Despite the fact that Pernida is getting angrier and angrier, Kurotsuchi decides to take some time out and explain to Kenpachi why he paralysed him. He claims to have immobilised Kenpachi ‘for his own good’, although it’s clear that Kurotsuchi enjoyed it far more than was necessary. Even though his entire body is frozen, Kenpachi can still move his eyes, and Kurotsuchi decides to improve the poison for next time. Ikkaku and Yumichika note that Kurotsuchi used Kenpachi as a test subject for Pernida’s power, and Nemu agrees, saying that she hopes her Captain never changes.
