Favorite personality trait:

Being layed-back. Even though he avoided doing something as much as he could, he knew exactly how to train and motivate his team. It showed what a dedicated sensei he was.

Favorite relationship:

Shikamaru. This relationship is one the closest ones in the series, in my opinion. The way they always played shogi, because this was the perfect way for Shikamaru to develop his analyzing skills, showed how much Asuma knew about him. And of course the way Shikamaru reacted after Asuma’s death, was the best way to illustrate their strong bond.

As Cang Du advances towards Hitsugaya, one of the wings given to him by Hyorinmaru fall off due to Urahara’s pill. At the same time, Hitsugaya stands up, with one of Hyorinmaru’s wings. As Cang Du watches, he realises that his medallion has returned to normal, and asks what Hitsugaya did to steal back his Bankai. He replies that maybe Hyorinmaru just wanted to come back, and prepares to confront Cang Du.

Let’s face it, a major part of a show’s appeal is the villain. Be they suave and sophisticated, or insane and genocidal, they’re always one of the more memorable aspects of a series. With this in mind, Shiggins and I have constructed a list of the top 10 anime antagonists. For the purpose of this list, the word ‘antagonist’ refers to the main enemy of a series, and not necessarily their moral alignment.

Damn, Hiro Mashima needs to stop loving baths so much.

So to start off this chapter, we finally return to Walrot Seeken who gives them praise and a potato. That's right. A potato. To put it simply, Walrot is perhaps the biggest troll of all time and constantly loves to make fun of the group. His catchphrase "I'm just kidding" is starting to get repetitive. He also has another reward and this is when audiences will get a bit annoyed.

Character Birthday Challenge ~ Naruto

Favorite personality trait:

His strong will. Seriously, after all that he’s been through he still doesn’t give up. I really like this about him and I really hope he will never lose his will to protect the ones he loves. With that’s happening right now, it may happen sooner as we expect, but I don’t think he will ever lose it.

Favorite relationship:

Iruka. He was the first one to acknowledge him and he still believes in him, no matter what happens. Too bad we don’t see much conversations between them anymore, but I hope there will be in the future.

Favorite fight:

Even though it’s not over yet… I really like his fight with Obito. The way he developed and analyzed everything that happened in the fight, is amazing. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

Favorite jutsu:

Everything Kurama related. I really like the jutsu Naruto’s able to use when he’s using Kurama’s chakra and when they’re working together. Every new transformation is even more awesome than the previous one.

Favorite outfit:

His outfit when he’s in Bijuu mode. He looks amazing in it.

Favorite random thing:

His whiskers. I know they're typical for Naruto, but I still like them a lot.

Personal thoughts:

It took me a while before I actually liked him, but now I think he’s just amazing. The way developed his skills and also his relationships with the villagers, his team mates, sensei’s,… is amazing. He never gives up and he keeps believing in everyone who’s every betraded his or Konoha’s trust.  Amazing character and I really hope the series isn’t ending soon.

Still with Hitsugaya, Bazz-B is slightly annoyed that Cang Du has arrived to kill his opponent, to which Cang Du reveals that Yhwach ordered the Quincies to kill those whose Bankais they stole. Reaching under his coat, Cang Du pulls out Matsumoto and throws her on the ground. He then extends his iron claws and states that Hitsugaya should die next to Matsumoto, claiming that it’s his ‘style’ to kill those who lived together. At this point, he unleashes Hitsugaya’s Bankai and compliments it, saying that letting it live on after Hitsugaya’s death makes him sorry.

The potential is rising!

This strangely titled chapter starts off with Natsu and the gang deciding to ignore the fact they just faced so much chaos and got tons of creepy foreshadowing, and have a party instead with the giants. Everyone catches up while the giants show their gratitude by doing nothing because they are assholes probably. The gang discuss everything they found out in this arc about Tartaros and the Devil Slayer who froze the village.

So it looks like all Soul Reapers are insanely resilient.

In the Captain-Commander’s room, Haschwalth notes that a kido barrier has been placed between him and Shunsui and Nanao, preventing him from entering. When he questions them, it’s revealed that Nanao placed the barrier, and that only she can use it. As such, Haschwalth deduces that since the other Captains can’t use it, then they’re at a disadvantage, and can’t even fight back properly.

Favorite personality trait:

Kindness. I really like this side of him. He’s always avoiding a fight and never wants to hurt or kill anyone, but that all changes when he loses it. It’s an interesting change in personality, but I prefer his kind side.

Favorite relationship:

Sasuke. The way he trusts Sasuke and obeys him no matter what, is amazing. I also like the reason why it acts like this. Luckily Sasuke really is able to keep him in check.
