Am I the only one a bit saddened here?

So we start from exactly where we left out last week, where Natsu had just smashed the Eclipse Gate with F.Rogue's and Motherglare's faces. Everyone waits and suddenly, every dragon there glows in a big bright light as they start to get sent back to their own time period. Almost none of them seem particularly happy about this, most notably Zirconis who gets angry and starts cursing a lot.

The Princess decides to go over to Zirconis and apologise for causing this rift, as the dragons should never have entered their time period at all. Along the way, she also tells Zirconis her name and that her name is the same as the colour of Zirconis, Jade. Clearly, this is what gave him the idea to call himself that. He then disappears, feeling stupid for not attacking them some more.

That Moment When You Realise How Gay You Look.

And so we say goodbye to Zirconis, Atlas Flame and more as they are now all completely gone back to their own timeline. This includes those little minion bastards of Motherglare, who have been keeping everybody fighting throughout these chapters. However, Gajeel and Cobra both notice something which Mavis lets us, the reader, know.

I honestly think Tite Kubo is incapable of creating normal names.

This chapter continues straight on from last week’s, with Yhwach addressing the Sternritter. He calls out to a figure in the shadows, who steps forwards and reveals himself to be Uryu. As all the troops wonder who Uryu is and why he’s there, Yhwach announces that Uryu is the last Quincy alive in this world (presumably he means the last Quincy following the old ways). In a surprising move, Yhwach tells the Sternritter that he has nominated Uryu as his successor, causing almost all the troops to react in shock.

Why are there never any normal Sternritter?

One Quincy takes this news quite badly, and attempts to speak out. Fortunately for him, Haschwalth stops him before he can speak his mind. Given Yhwach’s response to people who speak against him, this was probably a smart move. Yhwach then tells them that there is no need to worry, as they will soon be able to see Uryu’s power for themselves.

This week, we started off with Wendy enchanting Laxus to try to make him even stronger, since Zirconis seems unstoppable, even for a Dragon Slayer. Meanwhile, the Princess refuses to leave as she feels it is her responsibility to oversee everything that happens. Although this is admirable of her, I do feel the need to say I'm unsure of what exactly she will be able to do for anyone really, besides maybe get in the way.

Her loyalty to Orochimaru. Despite being an experiment of him and probably having gone through a lot because of that, her loyalty to him never changed. Even after his death she doesn’t want anyone to talk bad about him.

Favorite relationship:

Suigetsu. Even if she beats him up every time, they can’t live with or without each other anymore. When he freed Jugo, he was wondering about Karin’s hideouts, so it means he notices her absence, and also cares about her in one or another way.

At last, Zangetsu is reforged!

Firstly however, Ichigo is remembering all the times Zangetsu saved him using Quincy powers, like when he activated Blut Vene. He then says that he’s sure that both his Inner Hollow and Quincy are Zangetsu, whilst he floats in his inner world.

I still don't think the one on the left looks like someone you should trust with your life.

Meanwhile, in the Soul Society, Ouetsu is still working at the forge when Ichigo, in another example of his callous disregard for his personal safety, plunges his hands into the flames and grabs his Zanpakuto. As everyone looks on, the forge glows with a shining white light. One of the sword five (the one with the long pigtails) expresses concern for Ichigo’s hands, but Ouetsu stops her, saying that it’s ok. He then says that it’s finished, and encourages Ichigo to take his Zanpakuto out of the forge. At this point, the extreme heat and spirit energy causes all the water in the surrounding area to evaporate.

A Massacre That Lasted Only One Minute.

So to start off today's chapter, we got an extremely horrific page. It featured three deaths of beloved characters, known to fans as Bacchus of Quatro Cerberus (or Quatro Puppy as Elfman made them call it), Droy of the Levy's Team Shadow Gear in Fairy Tail, and Macao who is the father of Romeo and was once the Guild-master of Fairy Tail. There is blood everywhere and people are heartbroken as many fall because of these dragons and their minions.

How Could Anyone Defeat These Three?

For those expecting to see Juvia go nuts in this chapter, sorry but there was nobody around for her to go nuts on. Lyon dispatched those killers before we all got a chance to see Juvia go batshit crazy. Seeing Lyon and Juvia cry so much, yet not bawl and wail was, in my opinion, a really nice touch as it didn't make it seem too silly or ridiculous. 

Sadly, this is when we have to return to see Ultear letting out buckets of angst and self-hatred, hating herself for considering to kill Rogue to stop F.Rogue. As I said last time, I think she's being a bit harsh on herself as it is a war and people don't ever think clearly in a war, and murder is easily one of the biggest thoughts in a war.

Time for more exposition! Hooray!

This time, the action takes place entirely in Ichigo’s Inner World. He realises that, when Yhwach invaded the Soul Society, Ichigo found him immediately, knew that he was the bad guy and almost found him familiar. As it turns out, this was all due to Zangetsu (I’m still going to call the old guy Zangetsu, the name ‘Inner-Quincy-Yhwach’ doesn’t have the same ring to it). Zangetsu confirms what Ouetsu told Ichigo last chapter, and says that his name is not ‘Zangetsu’. As a fairly apt metaphor, the buildings in the Inner World begin to collapse as Ichigo processes this information.

It doesn't matter what your name is, everyone's going to keep calling you Zangetsu.

However, when Ichigo asks if Zangetsu is really Yhwach, Zangetsu decides to answer in riddles, saying he is and is not Yhwach. Understandably confused, Ichigo bombards Zangetsu with questions, to which he gets the reply that Zangetsu is neither his enemy nor his ally, although he claims to never have lied to Ichigo, except when he told him his name. He then goes on to say that every time he taught Ichigo something or tried to save his life, he always used a Hollow’s power as opposed to his own.

She cares so much about everyone and everything. I know everyone does, but it’s one of those things you immediately notice about Kurenai. Hinata, Yakumo. She really doesn’t like to see them being hurt or something and she will do anything to prevent them from being unhappy. And of course her flowers.

Hinata. The way she cares for her is amazing. She knows how to encourage her. She’s like a big sister to Hinata.

Though one. He has a lot of good personality traits. But I’m going with being dutiful. He always knew what his duty was and he always acted towards it. Even if it meant killing his entire clan for Konoha, killing people for the Akatsuki. That’s being dutiful.

Even if it was a short one, his relationship with Sasuke. I really loved the way he tried to support him in his training and even the poke-on-forehead-thingy he always did. He was a caring big brother. Even in the end.

And with that, the death count has finally started to make me care.

So to start off this surprising chapter, we got to see Milliana confronting Erza and Jellal. Milliana is pissed of course, wanting Jellal to be killed by her hand. Erza defends Jellal, although frankly I think her reasoning has gotten slightly weaker recently. She really had no way to justify Jellal and calm down Milliana, who has every right to be angry. She was a slave for years! Her best friend died! And now it seems Erza has betrayed her! I'd be upset if Erza betrayed me.

Yeah But You Weren't In That Tower So I Think It's Easier For You!

Ultear, much to my surprise, suddenly appears and tells Milliana of how she was the one who caused all of Milliana's anger and she did it because, in her own words, "It's just who I am". She then just gives a chuckle and walks off, while Milliana seems to have suddenly calmed down and just gotten too depressed to really do anything. Hidden in a convenient little spot, Kagura just sighs and puts away her sword. Nobody felt like being angry anymore. They ask themselves a question I ask myself every day. "What's wrong with this twisted world?". I don't know, guys. I just don't know...

Someone should really check Tite Kubo’s house for drugs.

We start with Ouetsu being his typical self as he begins to reforge Ichigo’s Zanpakuto. First, he summons five people who randomly attack him. Ichigo’s Asauchi begins to disintegrate, and lands next to Ouetsu as a beam of light. One of the people – possibly Mera, it’s hard to tell – creates a massive fire, whilst another – called ‘Tokie’ – fills a trough with water.

Then things get weird(er).

"Okay, what the hell is going on?"

Another girl extends her ponytails and catches... something, whilst another person pulls out one of their teeth, which turns into a hammer. The hammer is then handed to Ouetsu, who takes off his sunglasses and gets ready to start the reforging. He smashes the hammer down on the Asauchi (now in the shape of a sword) as Ichigo stands back and watches. Apparently the colour of the flames is important, as Ouetsu explains that’s why he removed his sunglasses. As he continues to use the hammer, Ichigo asks why the Asauchi looks like his inner Hollow. Apparently, the Asauchi took the shape of Ichigo’s Zanpakuto, which means that Zangetsu isn’t actually Ichigo’s Zanpakuto.

She really should see a dentist about that.

Welcome to part 2 of the article in which the best manga series is found. All the information about the categories, judging methods and spoilers can be found in part 1 of the article.

Let’s get started.

‘Wham’ Moment

Just in case anyone is unfamiliar with this term, a ‘Wham’ moment refers to the point where things take a sudden dramatic turn. This is that point where things will never be the same again. Whilst not necessarily a plot twist, the two can be closely related. For the purposes of this article, the ‘Wham’ moments will not be the same as the plot twists.

Bleach: The Vandenreich Invasion

Aside from Uryu and Ryuuken, the first Quincies we saw were two Arrancars who were fairly incompetent, and they were both quickly killed off. Based on these two, some people may have assumed that the Vandenreich would have been a fairly low-key threat. That is, until they invaded the Soul Society, destroyed entire areas and killed or wounded a large number of Soul Reapers (including Byakuya and Kenpachi). This culminated in Yamamoto battling Yhwach and losing. And as if simply winning against the old guy wasn’t enough, Yhwach incinerated his remains. Ouch.

Fairy Tail: The Dragon Invasion

Let’s face it; unless you’re a Time Lord or from Starfleet, trying to mess around with the fabric of time is a really bad idea. So the Princess of Fiore should really have known better when she made a gate that would allow someone to travel back 400 years into the past. When the gate was finally opened, the plan changed from ‘send someone back to kill Zeref’ to ‘oh my god there are dragons everywhere what do we do?’. Even though the gate was closed, seven dragons managed to get through and started destroying the city. Good thing there are seven Dragon Slayers on hand, although the damage may turn out to be irreversible.

Score: 3.5

What Is The Best Manga Series?

Some people ponder the meaning of life. Others question how they can achieve their maximum potential. And I wonder what manga series is better: Bleach, Fairy Tail or Naruto? This is the question I shall be attempting to answer in this article.

WARNING: This article is based purely on opinion. It also contains major spoilers for Bleach, Fairy Tail and Naruto. Fairly warned be ye.

Whilst there are a number of ways to compare which manga is best, I’m going to go about it scientifically (sort of). Each manga will be judged in a number of categories and given a score (out of 5), and at the end the scores will be totalled up. As is traditional, the highest score will win.

Shit Hinata Fans and Sakura Haters Say

Before you jump to conclusions, we need to be crystal clear with this. I’m not a Sakura fan. In fact, I don’t even like girls in Naruto, except for Uchiha Sasuke. But with all the shipping wars surfacing due to the later chapters, it’s hard to stay neutral when you’re getting sucked in to it. Besides, if there’s anything more entertaining than watching two parties quarreling about something so ludicrous, it is fueling the said quarrels just for your own amusement. And I will make sure that I do my part of it.

Yes, I'm gonna say so much shit about both of you. 

I don’t plan to beat around the bush. Hinata fans hate Sakura mainly not because she’s a weak character in terms of depth, or not because Sakura has flaws as a kunoichi, but because Sakura is “in the way” of their supposed canon pairing; which is NarutoXHinata. Deny all you want, suckers, but this is the bitter truth. You deface Sakura’s pictures, and write about how ugly and flat-chested she is because that’s the only way you can release your rage of knowing that Naruto doesn’t give two shits about Hinata’s romantic feelings towards him, and continues have such feelings towards Haruno Sakura.

I don’t even plan to explain how irrational and immature that is and burst your pretty bubble, because I can understand that defacing Haruno Sakura is the only consolation that helps you sleep at night.  And I can even name a few foolish things NaruHina fans say just to convince themselves that Naruto will not end up with Sakura. Such as…

We're Entering Into Doctor Who Territory Now!

A much better chapter we were given this week as Natsu and his new friend, Atlas Flame take on Future Rogue and Motherglare in a very bad-ass battle in the sky, with dragon attacking dragon and Atlas Flame finding out that F.Rogue manipulated him using magic. Motherglare's attack has no effect on Atlas and Atlas has no effect on Motherglare which slightly makes this battle less dramatic, until Natsu uses Atlas' flames and goes full power of Motherglare's back, sending her down!

Motherglare....FUCK YEAH!

The (Pump)king is now shown and he's quite distraught at seeing his beloved town be turned into a war zone where "People are fighting each other. Dragons are fighting each other. People are fighting dragons." And he does raise an interesting question actually: Could everything go back to the way it was before? In my opinion, not any day soon but maybe, depending on how this all ends, they could go back to their happy lives.

Absolutely Nothing!

Now to a moment I've been wanting to see for quite some time though. The Rogue of today is facing off against his dragon and appears to be losing. The dragon, which I shall nickname Barry because he doesn't have an actual name yet, calls Rogue by name and tells him he's going to live so he can become the new King one day. Rogue gets upset, and even more upset when his own shadow starts telling him it's true. The Shadow then claims he is a possible future of Rogue and his inner darkness. Does this mean there is technically 3 versions of Rogue running around right now? Is this a Rogue that has turned into a complete shadow of evil and collaborating with F.Rogue? I'm thinking it just might be.
