With Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles bringing the green quartet back to the 2D playing field, in supremely divisive fashion, I thought it might be fun to look back at the classics and see how many times the Turtles have been in the spotlight and which one was the best... and you'd be surprised how many of them aren't good.

Without the pixel boobs, is there even any point?

And so we come to yet another film adaptation of a video game, but this time it is a member of the filthy reboot club as well. So already, this film is in a lot of trouble. Being a video game movie is hard enough, due to the awful history of attempts, but reboots aren't exactly my best friends. (I'm still terrified of the possibility of a Back to the Future reboot one day). So did 2018's attempt to bring Lara Croft to the big screen pay off?

On an island covered with gun-wielding murderers, and it still makes more sense for her to have a bow and arrow than Hawkeye.

Clearly, we need a Fairy Tail Super.

Almost every anime/manga out there make too many plotlines to wrap them all up neatly, and Fairy Tail was no exception. With the anime set to make a (final?) return later this year, let's have a look back at everything the manga either forgot to finish or considered completed but I respectfully felt could have gone further. Yes, if the newest antagonist wants to be remembered, then he shouldn't worry anymore because he has already made me burst out laughing and I doubt I'll be forgetting him anytime soon. And he is to be commended for somehow managing to win the show when the class are all having a great time themselves.

That reminds me. I need to think about my own video content...

Black Panther - Movie Review

With Avengers; Infinity War only two months away (three months if you aren't in the UK), one can't help but by hyped up. So there is already quite a lot of pressure for Black Panther, the 18th entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's impressive roster, but I'm thrilled to say that the king of Wakanda manages to stand strong and bring another satisfying adventure to the superhero gallery. For the most part.

Move over, Batman. There's a new man who wears black, dresses like an animal and beats up foes in the night!

Dumbledore's Sexuality - Does it Matter?

Yes, if you don't know yet, it was established long ago and confirmed canon by Harry Potter author herself, JK Rowling, that Albus Dumbledore was homosexual. Recently, the director of Fantastic Beasts 2 has announced that although Albus will be making an appearance in it, played by the fantastic Jude Law, his sexuality will not be addressed whatsoever. And since everyone on the internet has been speaking about it, I figured I might as well discuss if this is a big deal or not.

Fifty Shades of Grey - Movie Review

With the release of the climax coming up, I thought it only made sense to release a review of the very first instalment of the series. That meant I actually had to watch it for the first time, strapped to the chair so I didn't run screaming from the room. Speaking of rooms, many went to see both these films because they keep expecting it to be a disaster like Tommy Wiseau's entire career. And now that I've watched it, I can safely say... it isn't.
