Fairy Tail Chapter 469 Review - What I Want To Do

Written by Shiggins

You know what I'd like to do? Continue with the war.

I honestly think Lucy has forgotten at this point, because I've never seen someone in a war smiling and enjoying a sunset. That is actually one of the most impressive feats I've ever seen when I think about it. Her friends could be dying and killing, and she's enjoying herself! That's one cold-blooded bitch! I'd love to have seen that in Saving Private Ryan.

Your friends are dying! Stop acting like you're just in a normal situation, please! Am I the only one that remembers we're in a war?!

Fairy Tail Chapter 468 Review - Memory of the Stars

Written by Shiggins

I had to pour a big drink of whiskey before I went into this review.

Alright, technically it was just a big drink of Diet Pepsi, but I treated it like alcohol because when I make a prediction so painstakingly accurate, I'm usually proud and smug about it. This might be the first time I've ever felt so disappointed to be such a genius. Why was I cursed to be above others?! Sigh... Oh yeah and this chapter can just go straight to hell.

I think Brandish just became my spirit animal. She doesn't give a fuck while everyone else is acting all melodramatic.

Dragon Ball Super Chapter 7: The Universe's Warriors review

Written by: The Inquisitor

The freaks are here.

Note: I apologize for the late review, I blame the holidays and Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon.

Freak #1: Zunou. The chapter starts with Jaco and Bulma flying to Zunou's home planet and after a rather amusing conversation between the two, they arrive. It is revealed that if you want Zunou to answer a question, you have to give him a "present" first. After Jaco gives Zunou his "present" (a kiss on the cheek), Zunou allows him to ask one question. And the question was: what is Bulma's breast size?
This guy looks like what would happen if Buddha and Bowser Jr. had a kid.

Fairy Tail Chapter 467 Review - Mother's Key

Written by Shiggins

2016! New year, new me FT!

For those who can't remember, 2015 ended with Natsu and Happy having a hug, Zeref going to act out a gay shopping montage for new clothes, and Brandish about to die from her weasel sidekick Marin Hollow. And our reward for waiting so long and begging Mashima-senpai is a chapter providing answers... although is the reveal as good as it could have been?

Top 10 Anime Series of 2015

Top 10 Anime Series of 2015
Written by: ClayDragon & Shiggins

Let’s not beat around the bush – 2015 was a damn good year for anime. This was partly due to the hype surrounding the fact that a couple of old shows got revitalised, but there were also some notable original series. And what better way to celebrate the end of the year than by making our final 2015 list be about the best shows to grace our screens these past 12 months?

IMPORTANT: For this list we’ve only considered shows that started airing this year. Shows that were staggered across 2014 and 2015 have not been considered for this list (sorry, fans of Unlimited Blade Works). However, shows that got a completely separate series this year are eligible for this list.

Side note: Whilst we made an effort to watch lots of shows that started airing this year, we couldn’t see them all. So if there’s a show that you think should be on this list but isn’t, then it’s probably because we never got around to watching it, as opposed to us not liking it.

As is this the case with many of these lists, SPOILER ALERT. You have been warned.

Top 10 Anime Fights of 2015

Top 10 Anime Fights of 2015
Written by: ClayDragon & Shiggins

Fighting has become somewhat of a staple for anime shows, to the point where even non-shonen series tend to have at least one brawl in there somewhere. Some people may claim to be above such base forms of entertainment, but when you get right down to it everyone likes to see someone get punched in the face, and 2015’s anime had plenty of that to go around.

Side note: Whilst we made an effort to watch lots of shows that started airing this year, we couldn’t see them all. So if there’s a fight that you think should be on this list but isn’t, then it’s probably because we never got around to watching it, as opposed to us not liking it.

Top 10 Anime Openings of 2015

Top 10 Anime Openings of 2015
Written by: ClayDragon & Shiggins

Openings are an often-overlooked aspect of anime, which is strange considering that their main purpose is to introduce you to the show and get you ready for the episode which follows. Of course, everyone has their own opinions as to what the greatest opening of all time is. But since it’s the end of the year, we thought we’d rank our favourite anime openings from 2015. Like with our other Top 10s of 2015, as long as the opening debuted this year, it’s eligible for this list.

Side note: Whilst we made an effort to watch lots of shows that started airing this year, we couldn’t see them all. So if there’s an opening that you think should be on this list but isn’t, then it’s probably because we never got around to watching it, as opposed to us not liking it.

Top 10 Anime Moments of 2015

Top 10 Anime Moments of 2015
Written by: ClayDragon & Shiggins

Following on from our Top 10 Anime Characters of 2015, we’re taking a look at the singular moments that made us laugh, cheer and cry this year. There were a number of memorable scenes this year, with a number of them easily becoming the defining moment for their respective series. As long as the scene in question aired this year, it’s fair game for this list.

Side note: Whilst we made an effort to watch lots of shows that started airing this year, we couldn’t see them all. So if there’s a moment that you think should be on this list but isn’t, then it’s probably because we never got around to watching it, as opposed to us not liking it.

Top 10 Anime Characters of 2015

Top 10 Anime Characters of 2015
Written by: ClayDragon & Shiggins

Well, it’s the end of another year. Instead of going out and partying with our friends and family, we got our priorities right and decided to make a couple of lists celebrating the anime series that were released these past twelve months. Over the next five days, we’ll be looking at the highlights that 2015 had to offer in terms of anime, and what better way to do that than by doing Top 10s? For this list, we’ve looked at the best characters that we were introduced to this year. This list will only count characters that made their debut appearance this year, regardless of when their show actually started airing.

Side note: Whilst we made an effort to watch lots of shows that started airing this year, we couldn’t see them all. So if there’s a character from a show that you think should be on this list but isn’t, then it’s probably because we never got around to watching the show, as opposed to us not liking them.

As is this the case with many of these lists, SPOILER ALERT. You have been warned.

Fairy Tail Chapter 466 Review - Assassin

Written by Shiggins

NOTE: It turns out this chapter was occidentally released by Crunchyroll a week early, so I decided to keep quiet and wait a week to review this great chapter too.

Poor Zeref. He only wants someone to kill him!

After cleaning himself up between panels using magic, (yes. Somehow Death Magic removes injuries now... I don't know how either), Zeref tells Invel that they will continue their attack on the Guild for Fairy Heart. He then asks Invel to secure him new clothes more befitting an emperor. Yes, Zeref is ditching the old look. In fact, this review even has a sneak peek of how he'll look soon...

All rulers need to look the part!
