We start with Bakugou, who has just finished blowing up Captain Crunch's flying fingers with his new attack, "AP Shot: Auto Cannon". Captain Crunch absorbs the remains of his fingers and makes new ones. CC starts rambling about dignity and Bakugou charges at him to shut him up. At the same time, Kaminari uses his snazzy new watch to fire something at CC, and misses. Bakugou yells at CC for ignoring him, and then gets fingered from behind.
Bakugou gets crunched and we get some info. CC's real name is Shishikura Seiji, and his quirk is called Processed Meat. He has a great degree of control of human flesh. He can crumple other people and freely detach and control his own flesh, as seen with the Flying Fingers and whatever the hell he is doing in the picture below.
Seiji goes on another rant that I'm not going to take the time to go over. Fight time! Kaminari throws one of Bakugou's makeshift grenades, the explosion blasts Seiji sideways, right between one of the objects Kaminari threw earlier and Kaminari himself, and gets shocked. Turns out, Kaminari didn't miss at all when he threw them, they are actually a "target" which Kaminari can use in conjunction with his watch to the control the flow of his electricity. Both the watch and the targets were made by Hatsume.
It's Kaminari's turn to make a speech. He tells Seiji that even though Bakugou is...Bakugou, he is still serious about being a hero. He also tells him that he knows next to nothing about U.A., so he has know right to say anything about them. After he says all of this, Bakugou and Kirishima knock out Seiji. The damage inflicted by Kaminari was enough for Seiji's quirk to cancel. But there is no time to celebrate, they have another problem to deal with: all of the other people Seiji crunched.
Over to Midoriya and Co. Uraraka attaches some of Sero's tape to some boulders, floats them across the battlefield, and drops them, capturing multiple people. All three of them use their balls to hit the targets of the people they captured (and ruining some of their captives' futures in the process, but who cares about them?), bringing the number of people who have passed so far to 79. We then move to the announcer who reveals that no one in U.A. has been defeated, and then tells a "interesting" group of people to prepare for stage two.
Opinion:
So in the next test they'll have to fight a bunch of old people and children? Yeah right. I'm guessing the next test will be Rescue based. Or maybe they really are fighting the cast of Betty White's: Off Their Rockers. Either one is fine with me.
21 spots left, and 12 U.A. students that are still in the competition.With Jirou, Todoroki, Yaoyorozu, Tsuyu, Shouji, Midoriya, Uraraka, and Sero having already passed. It's safe to assume Bakugou and Co. are going to kick some ass and pass, but the others need to pick up the pace. Hopefully we get to see what they are up to in the next chapter.
Speaking of Bakugou and Co. I think that may have been the first fight Kaminari has ever won without having to short circuit his brain, he sure has grown. As for Captain Crunch, he's out, let's move on, the only thing that was interesting about him was his quirk.
